Hammers and mallets

Technicians often need specific striking tools to perform various tasks during field operations. This is why Telenco store offers a wide range of hammers, varying in shape, size and weight - such as club mallets, sledge hammers or riveting hammers - for field engineers to find the perfect striking tool to meet their needs.

What type of hammer should you use?

We offer different types of hammers for different purposes. For example, electricians' hammers have an extended head to enable technicians to have access to tight spaces, while a cross and straight pein hammer are ideal tools for riveting, shaping, and bending metal by hammering. Mallets enable workers to make effective strikes without damages and are usually used to drive dowels or chisels. It is usually used with a chisel to carve or sculpt. The sledgehammer is intended to be used with two hands and with force, for heavy duty construction or demolition work for example. Club hammers, also called hand sledges, offer the same kind of pound as a sledgehammer, but on a smaller scale. They are small and light enough that they are held with one hand.

Using the right hammer will make the job easier and avoid possible damage to the tool and/or work piece.
