VIAVI has been active in the field of optical technologies and test and measurement for network telecommunications since 1923. It is one of the major suppliers on the international market. Thanks to its continuous investment in R&D, VIAVI Solutions offers innovative and high-tech solutions.

VIAVI understands the needs of telecom field engineers and adapts its offer, making the company the world leader in test and measurement products for fibre optic, copper or mobile networks.

VIAVI's test and measurement equipment enables field engineers to obtain precise data on the performance and efficiency of their installations. Telenco distribution offers a complete and diversified range of VIAVI products for test and measurement on the Telenco store marketplace. These solutions apply to optical and copper networks, but also to transmission and radio. Discover below a selection of VIAVI products essential for the rollout and maintenance of fibre optic networks.

Reflectometre SmartOTDR Viavi telenco

SmartOTDR Handheld Fiber Tester: a lightweight and compact version for the qualification of FTTx networks

The VIAVI SmartOTDR handheld fiber tester has all the tools for building and maintaining FTTx, LAN, Datacenter or long distance networks. Equipped with a touch screen, it offers a user-friendly and intuitive graphic interface.

Widely used by telecom field engineers in its 1310/1550 nm version for network deployment, it is also available with a 1625 or 1650 nm filtered maintenance wavelength in tri-lambda or mono-lambda configurations.

The SmartOTDR A (37/35 dB) and B (40/40 dB) versions enable to adapt to the measured fibre lengths for different use cases. FiberCable 2 software facilitates post-processing of optical test measurements and generation of a complete optical report (test report).

Photomètre OLP-88

OLP-88 TruePON tester: the perfect solution for power levels and insertion loss diagnostics

The OLP-88 is a wavelength-selective, through-mode photometer. It enables the simultaneous measurement of the up and downstream optical levels of G/E-PON and XGS-PON/10G-EPON networks. Equipped with G-PON frame analysis, it can identify the OLT-ID and serial numbers of customers’ ONTs.

The recording of the measurement results and their export to a PC in an easy-to-use format (Excel XLS/CSV), meets the need for a complete audit of the PM cabinets, which is an important element in the compliance of FTTH networks.

The OLP-88 photometer is perfect for field engineers in charge of activating services, but also for support teams in charge of resolving malfunctions and identifying the causes of power losses.

Puissance-mètre sélectif OLP-37X

OLP-37X Selective Optical Power Meter: the compact tool for fast and simultaneous measurements

The arrival of the XGS-PON on the French FTTH network adds a second wavelength (1577 nm in addition to 1490 nm) and therefore requires the use of new compatible tools to perform level measurements for all maintenance activities.

The OLP-37XV2 is a compact selective power meter designed for fast and simultaneous measurements of G/E-PON and XGS-PON/10G-EPON downstream power levels.

Its pocket size, single port and intuitive interface make it a perfect tool for any telecom field engineer during the call-out.

Puissance-mètre sélectif OLP-39X

VIAVI OLP-39X fiber tester: the ideal power meter for FTTx network maintenance

The OLP-39 combines a selective power meter (1490 and 1577 nm) with the analysis of G-PON and XGS-PON frames for the maintenance of FTTH networks.

This device enables the identification of the OLT-ID and the serial number of the ONT to reduce the time for troubleshooting. The ability to export the measurements in an easy-to-use format (Excel XLS/CSV), its size and its simplicity of use make the OLP-39 the perfect device for the various aspects of FTTx maintenance.
